ITV2’s Love Island has had audiences captivated for 2 weeks now, and with the drama only intensifying the dating show has made for some VERY compulsive summer viewing.

Now producers are set to mix things up even further by sending former Celebrity Love Island contestant Calum Best into the house.

Speaking in a teaser for next week’s instalments, the 34-year-old said: "Love Island - it has been 10 years and I can't wait to come back.

"I can come in there and just share my experience with everybody else to make sure they have the best time they possibly can. I'm looking forward to getting amongst it."

Calum could set hearts racing in the Love Island house

He followed up the announcement by revealing that he was already in Spain preparing for his grand entrance.

Calum tweeted: "Fun evening sharing that with u lot ! Off to bed as early start heading to Barcelona .

"See u on love island Sunday . Much love to u all. Night (sic)"

Calum appeared on the original Love Island series in 2005 and 2006, walking away as a winner in his second year.

He also proved popular after appearing in Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year alongside Katie Price and Katie Hopkins.
