Nicholas Brendon, famous for his role as Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is said to have attempted suicide last month.

According to reports on Radar Online the 44-year-old was seen 'staggering' around in Saratoga Springs, New York, by a passer by.

And in an emotional post last weekend, Nicholas appeared to blame his former agent for much of his stress, writing:

"Hello all.. So I really have to get this off of my chest.. Andrea Albin who you might know from the Dr Phil episode is back on Twitter as @theandreaamanda.

"She has caused so much pain in my life. Not because as she said that I was in love with her (I have an amazing girlfriend).

"But because , she as my working booking agent faked bookings with fake emails.. And so much more (She also has told people that she has had sex with my twin ,kelly). They have never met.

"What I need from you guys is just to stop her and bloodybombshell entertainment. @bloodybent.

"For the love of any and everything that we hold sacred

"We must have her not in contact with actors or any one that is creative".

He then revealed he was entering a rehab facility for 90 days, writing:

"Hey guys. I can't tell you how much your support and kind comments mean to me.

"I love you all so much and if I can help just one person by sharing my struggles and how I'm battling them then it's all completely worth it."

Our thoughts are with Nicholas during this trying time.
