The 28-year-old took to social media to vent his frustrations but, unusually, chose to keep the person’s identity a secret.

He fumed: “It’s funny how TOWIE don’t want you back (despite you trying), yet you still have to write about it to stay relevant.. #cringe.”

Bobby later added: “Seriously honey, if you dislike me as much as you claim, why do you centre your life around gossiping about me.. #YouKnowWhoYouAre [sic]”

His followers immediately began to speculate who was behind the rant, with one even suggesting it was his on-screen bestie Gemma Collins!

Recently Bobby clashed with former The Only Way Is Essex star Sam Faiers, after she wrote about him in her autobiography, ‘Secrets and Lies’.

She said: “I heard on the Essex grapevine that Bobby was colluding with the producers and then stitching Harry [Derbidge, Bobby’s ex boyfriend] up on screen for guaranteed airtime and Gemma was being encouraged to get herself right in the middle in order to cause maximum drama…

“It brought out the worst in Bobby too, who I thought started to look vicious and a bit desperate if you ask me.”

Shortly after Sam’s quotes were made public, Bobby posted a message of his own and, although he didn’t directly aim it as Sam, it was clear who the target was.

He said: “Disappointing when a ‘friend’ feels the need to talk badly but crucially untruthfully about you in their book. The title seems even more fitting now!”
