To be honest, Closer always had a bit of a crush on him when he was in Blue, so naturally we jumped at the chance of having a good old chat with him.
Currently working for Kit Kat's 'working like a machine' campaign, the 30-year-old told us all about his vices, the importance of looking after yourself and his top confidence tip!
Do you have a sweet tooth?
I do love my chocolate, I am a big chocoholic - so working with KitKat was quite enjoyable.
How do you make up for all that chocolate eating?
Spinning classes. I’m going to a spinning class tonight.
What is your workout routine like?
"I’m really into the gym at the moment. I go to spin class twice a week and I go swimming every morning. I try to be healthy. Once you hit thirty, you have to start working that little bit harder.
How do you keep yourself motivated?
I’m quite a motivated kind of person. I just into a routine. Get up in the morning and go for a swim and that sets you up for the day. You feel quite energised, quite healthy and quite fresh.
I think it’s important for everybody to be in shape and be healthy, to be health conscious and aware. We all need to recognise that it is important to look after our bodies and try and lead as healthy lives as possible really."
Do you any other vices, apart from chocolate?
I eat a lot of rich foods. I like lots of olives and smoked salmon. I do like to indulge in my food and I do love my chocolate.
Are you worried about your beach body at all? Not at all. I’m in good shape at the moment. I feel really healthy, which is great.
I do think it is important for everyone to be health- aware and do more cardiovascular activities, whether it’s swimming or going for a jog or power walking. Especially a lot of people working in offices, working nine to five and sitting in front of a computer.
It is really important for people to be a little bit healthy. Then every now and again you can have a treat - chocolate is definitely a nice luxury. But you should eat everything in moderation.
How about the ladies?
Do you prefer curvy girls or a more athletic body type? I like women to be confident and comfortable in their own skin. If you're good and vibrant, then I think that’s the most important thing.
You're used to being in the spotlight, so do you have any confidence boosting tips for our readers?
A good confidence booster, if you’re feeling a little bit down is, for the ladies and the gents- go and have a spray tan. Even in the winter, nasty days , if you can look in the mirror and be a bit golden, it can brighten up your mood. I don’t recommend sunbeds.
Can you recommend a fake tan?
Beau Bronz - a lady came to my 30th birthday party and gave us all free samples. Now everyone who was there is addicted! It’s really natural because it doesn’t make you go orange.
