For Ben’s next role as Batman in upcoming movie Justice League: Part One - which will be filmed at Leavesden Studios, Hertfordshire - he has decided to buy a London property with his soon-to-be ex wife.
The Hollywood couple have three children together – Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.
Much like Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s civil break up, Ben and Jennifer are looking to prove that divorce doesn’t have to be unpleasant.
A source told The Sun that Ben has secured the North London house so that his three children will be with him during the duration of filming and estranged wife Jennifer will also be living there to look after the little ones whilst Ben is at work.
“Ben and Jennifer are a very strong cohesive unit. They have created a new normal, which will continue while they are living in London,” the source revealed.
“Ben wants his family close when he’s working, and staying together in a new country will be a great experience, despite himself and Jennifer being no longer a couple.”
Since announcing their separation last June after ten years of marriage, the couple decided to continue living together in their LA home, as well as often going on holiday together with the children.
However, it was reported that the Batman vs Superman star has now moved out of the family home and into the property next door, costing $35,000 a month, according to X17.
Speaking to Vanity Fair magazine in February, Jennifer opened up about her split from Ben, saying the rumoured alleged relationship between Ben and the family’s former nanny had nothing to do with the pair’s separation.
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation,” Jennifer told them.
