Charity organiser Bob Geldof held press conference earlier this week unveiling his plans for what bookies are already betting will be no.1.

The money raised could not come fast enough. Thousand of children have been orphaned and families ripped apart by the current Ebola outbreak.

Hospitals are at capacity and sick people (at their most contagious) are being turned away from Ebola centres.

Lack of resources mean that the virus will continue to spread as family members and medical staff lack the means to protect themselves from the disease.
