The 24-year-old gold medalist admitted that Amy's natural good looks left her feeling bad about herself, and refused to sit next to the model.
Her actions divided the public, some who accused Rebecca of bullying Amy just for being beautiful, whilst others championed Rebecca's achievements and turned on Amy for being just another vacuous model.
But the 21-year-old Miss Universe winner is having the last laugh this weekend, after completing her very first challenge in the Australian jungle.
Getting the girls to braid her hair beforehand, the Bristol-born beauty had to unlock several combination locks whilst covered in thousands of cockroaches.
And those who were expecting girlie screams and panicking will be dissapointed, as Amy remained remarkably calm and collected whilst she worked her way through the challenge, winning 7 meals for the team.
The feud with Rebecca seems to have been put to bed too, with the swimmer accompanying Amy to the pool after her challenge.
She explained: 'Yesterday, for me, wasn't about you at all. For me it actually fely like a bit of a therapy session...It really helped me talking to other people tha are in the spotlight that are going through exactly the same.'
To which Amy replied: 'They do it to everyone babe, honestly, everyone. I really wouldn't worry about it.'
