Twitter user Aaron Merry sent a message to Gordon, 48, asking for his advice after an 'unfair dismissal' from his job as a chef.

He wrote: "@GordonRamsay Could do with your advice, got fired from my chef job on the way home on the same day I mentioned epilepsy, is that fair ? [sic]."

Dad-of-four Gordon was quick to respond and, not only was he impressed with the way Aaron had allegedly been treated, he also came to his rescue.

The hot-headed chef tweeted: "That's ridiculous DM [direct message] I will offer you a job [sic]."

Before turning to Gordon for help, Aaron revealed on the social networking site that he was going to work despite having had multiple fits that morning.

He wrote: "Well 3 epileptic fits this morning but because of how much college and team in kitchen mean to me coming college anyway, can't let them down [sic]."

Gordon – who has been married to wife Tana since 1996 – is one of the most successful chefs in the world, with a string of high-end restaurants across the globe, multiple successful TV shows and a net worth of over £70 million.

It looks like Aaron's reported sacking may have been a blessing in disguise, doesn't it?
