Lois Curtis, 49, described herself as ‘used but in pretty good condition’.
She wrote on her ad: “Good bodywork and sense of fun, just bored with the same old thing. Cooks and cleans, no warranty… fuses have been known to blow.”
The single mother-of-two was hoping to find a ‘Greek, rugged, gorgeous guy’ – and bids exceeded £200.
However Lois had second-thoughts and removed her advert before her Greek prince could sweep her off of her feet.
She told the Mirror: “I want to go live in Greece, it’s always been a dream.
“So my friend Apostolos, who lives over there, said ‘put yourself on eBay and I will share the link’.
“He has loads of friends so we thought we would see what happens and whether anyone was interested, just for a bit of fun. I was hoping for a nice Greek, rugged, gorgeous guy – the sort all women want. A few dates, that sort of thing.”
Sadly for Lois, her Greek stallion didn’t manage to find her. She has however been contacted by a few potential suiters since deleting her original advert.
While we commend Lois for throwing herself into dating, somebody really needs to introduce her to Tinder…
