Are Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon heading for divorce?

Following the news that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have decided to sell their Bel Air mansion, rumours are rife that the couple are heading for divorce.

According to US sources, the 44-year-old diva and Nick, 33, are already embroiled in a $495 million divorce battle.

Although the reason for their marriage troubles is still unclear, it’s been suggested that Nick was struggling to deal with Mariah’s eccentric behaviour and demands.

These include: her desire to have a ‘commitment ceremony’ at Disneyland, the need to renew their vows every year, and wanting to move to NYC without considering his needs.

But it seems she wants the marriage over as much he as does, with a source telling a US magazine: “Mariah’d cut him loose right now. But she’s worried about him making a grab for a huge chunk of her $515 million fortune.”

When asked for a comment on his relationship, Nick allegedly told reporters that he wasn’t going to comment and that their three-year-old twins son Moroccan and daughter Monroe ‘come before everything’.

During a new episode of Braxton Family Values, Tamar actually compares her sister’s marriage to a sexually transmitted disease. Ouch!

The fiery singer said: “Trina and Gabe are like Herpes. They pop up, disappear… but no matter what, it’s always in your bloodstream.”

Every parent knows it’s an amazing feeling when your child takes its first steps.

Singer Monica is no different. She uploaded a snap of her adorable daughter to Instagram after the 9-month-old took her first steps.

The Angel Of Mine singer captioned it: “Laiyah took her first steps alone last night!!! Now she wants to walk everywhere LOL”.

It looks like Monica and her husband, basketball star Shannon Brown, have their work cut out for them now!

Monica also has two other children, sons Rocko and Romelo, from a previous relationship.
