Kerry Katona’s fiancé George Kay has been detained by police under the mental health act.

The 34-year-old was reportedly found walking along a road near his rented home in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, which he shares with partner Kerry and her five children.

Cops were informed of George’s distressed state when a women made a frantic phone call to authorities.

He was then taken to a hospital in Oxford for treatment.

According to authorities, he was found shouting that someone was going to kill him.

The police released a statement reading: “Thames Valley Police can confirm they were called to a road in Chinnor, Oxfordshire shortly after 6pm on 30 July. A 34-year-old man was detained under the mental health act and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. He was later discharged.”

According to rethink.org, a person can only be sectioned under the mental health act if certain people agree that they are suffering from a mental health problem which makes them a danger to themselves or others.

George has recently become a father to baby daughter three-month-old Dylan-Jorge with his pop star fiancee.
