Hopkins had previously tweeted that we 'extend life beyond the optimal point of departure' asking: 'What is the point in sucking life from the young?'
The TV personality added that if she were to suffer dementia in her old age, she would much rather she be allowed to die, or that her children 'take my cash & have a blast' rather than visit their mum who can't remember who they are.
And despite many being outraged by the 39-year-old's comments, her views are gaining support across Twitter.
