It definitely put a smile on the faces of those who've been married for a long time, but is this video as real as it professes to be?
This viral video shows Jason Mortensen waking up from hernia surgery and immediately trying to chat up the pretty woman beside him. The pretty woman who was, as he failed to realise in his painkiller-addled state, his wife of six years.
Jason asks: "Did the doctor send you - you are eye candy. Woah - you are the prettiest girl I've ever seen, are you a model?"
To which his wife replies, with a giggle: "Nope, my name's Candice I'm your wife."
Looking shocked he then said: "Oh my god - I hit the jackpot," going on to marvel over how she is the "most beautiful woman in the world."
Unsurprisingly, the cute clip has had over 4 million views, with many praising the video for showcasing that love doesn't have to fade once you've been together for a long ol' while.
But is it real?
With so many hoax videos doing the rounds at the moment, plenty are suspicious of the clip - and one Reddit user has even claimed to find a profile of Jason on a Hollywood acting website.
However Jason, who posted the video under the title 'Seeing her for the first time again', has responded to hoax claims, stating that it is 100% true.
"In response to all of the questions, I had a hernia repair to fix residual tears from a previous surgery. I wish I could remember this but I was definitely out of it."
"This was my fifth surgery within our six years of marriage and she's been by my side through all of it. In a previous surgery I suffered a severe complication and we didn't know if I'd ever function the same again."
"She is the love of my life."
We really want to believe it's genuine now.
